Poems

hyacinth

bleed seeking amaryllis
blood sucking chrysanthemum
iris, liatris, lily, lisianthus
weary smiles narcissus
shy admirer rose, snapdragon, sunflower
shattered diamond eyes
obscuring the future
stagnant tulip, blossoms
into dust
the temple becomes a cemetery
for lost gods
a shrine
for listless hard soever after materialists
crying chiara
strangling vines
your decomposing bones bleached white
listmaker
hyacinth

pollen

shallow seedlings carve
impressions in the wet grass
for bloodletting hearts
to blossom through the gnarls.

temple bells ring
with serene insincerity
and how beautiful you seemed
from afar

through shadow
and stained glass.

kronos

lace veil draped across your quiet face.
so pure and imperfect
that you knew it was the truth.
your skin peeling
like cracks in time as paint dries
and i can not cry
through smooth marble eyes.
